PRACTICE ICE NOTES:
1. Practice sessions may be purchased at the registration desk for $12 per
20-minute walk on session, as space permits. Only 20 skaters are allowed on each session.
2. Open Practice session is for skaters of all levels and disciplines. (Who have paid, of course).
3. All other sessions are reserved for the stated competitors and/or disciplines ONLY. Please respect the designation.
MUSIC ON PRACTICE ICE NOTES:
1. Competitors will be allowed to play their music on all sessions.
2. When you check in with the practice ice monitor, you will receive a ticket. This ticket is to be turned in with your practice music CD when you want your music played. If near the end of the session no one else wants to play their music you will be permitted to play your music once again. It is advised that you turn in your CD and ticket at the start of the session to get into the "queue." In a 20-minute session, an average of 8-11 competitors will get their music played. Somehow though, this generally works out okay at Adult Nationals/other competitions as not everyone wants to play their music.
3. Saturday's 6:10 AM ice dance session will play the following dances once: Dutch Waltz, Cha Cha, Hickory Howdown, and Foxtrot. Remaining time will be given for any Championship Free Dances.
4. Saturday's 6:30 AM ice dance session will play the following dances once: American Waltz, Blues, Killian, Westminster Waltz, Silver Samba. Remaining time (and the first four minutes) will be given for any Championship Free Dances.
5. Saturday's 12:40 PM ice dance session will play starting any Championship Free Dances requested first, starting at 12:43 sharp. At any down moment skaters may request the Dutch Waltz, Cha Cha, Foxtrot, American Waltz, or Blues.

Want to purchasing practice ice in advance?
The deadline has passed.
Details for those purchasing practice ice in advance:
My March 1 you will receive conformation that we received your form, and we’ll provide you with a PIN number and a direct link to the website where you will schedule your practice ice sessions. We will be using Don Korte's (sk8stuff.com) system, which was used at the 2009 Adult National Championships.
To reserve your sessions, you will log on using that provided link with your name and the personal identification number (PIN) which will be provided to you via your confirmation email.
All singles skaters may reserve up to 2 sessions per day. All ice dancers (entered in solo and/or couples dance) and pairs skaters may reserve up to 2 additional sessions per day, per discipline. All competitors will be available to purchase additional practice ice in person at the competition, as space is available.
You may only reserve sessions appropriate to the event(s) you have entered. If you are found skating on an inappropriate session or unpaid session, the ice monitor may require you to leave the session without refund.
Practice ice payments are not refundable.
I/WSA FSC and sk8stuff.com are not responsible for reservation changes made online by authenticated users, though there have not been such problems with this system.
If you have any questions, please email Mike Cunningham at mjc@uwalumni.com.
